Web Design
Here’s some of the website design services that I offer
If you’re looking at getting your first website up and running, I can understand if you feel a little daunted. With so many web companies to chose from it’s easy to feel a little overwhelmed. Every web designer and web design company has their own unique way of doing things. Different freelance web designers and companies also have different specialties too. Of course the pricing of the websites can vary considerably from web company to company.
Here’s your website options:
- Either a custom website with a cool design.
- Or we build a website that you can make changes to.
- We can add some coding to your website for Google ranking.
- Link up your website to social media like Twitter and Facebook.
- Sort out some photos for your gallery page and general design.
- Work out your color scheme for your website.
How many pages does your website need?
Some of the things to work out early on with your new website is to decide if you’re up for making your own changes. Many of my clients think they’ll be making their own changes but generally I’ve found that few of them actually want to down the track. Usually they all want me to make the changes instead so I include a few months of support to help you with your changes down the track.
If you’re comfortable learning how to make your own changes, then it’s best to set you up with a WordPress website. The more pages your want to have on your website, the more likely it is that we’ll be developing your website based on the WordPress system. WordPress is free to setup and anyone can give it a go, but I’ve found that most people are happy to invest some dollars to have it all setup and put together instead.
Here’s what we need to sort out your website project.
Basically we decide whether we’re building a smaller custom design website or one that is going to allow you to add your own pages. If you go with the second option, essentially your website can be as big as 30 to 40 pages and come up quite well in the Google rankings. It’s really up to you but once you’ve decided then we take care of the following details.
Discovery
So this is where we go through some deep Q and A. We need to work out what exactly it is you’re aiming to achieve and find out all about you and your direction.
Planning
Then I go ahead and plan things out a little. Based on my experience your website gets the structure and design that’s needed to make it a success.
Preparing
Here’s where we gather up all your stuff needed to develop your website. Company logo, photography and text all start to come together so we can get started.
Design
Really this is the assembly phase where I go ahead and start coding and putting your site together. You’ll really see things starting to take shape and come together.
Go Live!
This is the fun part. You have your website fully operational and everything is in working order. You can now start to focus on the marketing phase of your website.
